Changing lives in the Philippines

It is encouraging to receive testimonies of those who are benefitting from the work of Entrust partner projects. This is the translation of one from a pastor who had been attending Pastoral Training Course ('PTC') seminars for two years. Pastor Gumer Alburo from Nueva Ecija in the Philippines writes:

"When I was transferred to Bataan last year I started to attend PTC seminars because all the pastors under the leadership of our Provincial Administrator are studying there. At first, I did not enjoy the training because I was new in the place and I thought it was just additional work and a burden. But I was wrong. Eventually I realized that PTC could be a great help to me, especially in studying God's Word. Today I am able to prepare sermons very well every week for the worship service. My preaching became very clear, easily understood and relevant to the needs of the members of the congregation."

"I am very grateful for the ministry of PTC. Even though they will not receive a love gift, they continue to give time and money just to teach us. I thank all the PTC Staff, especially the Director, Pastor Paul Caampued. The topics they teach us are relevant to my situation and needs. May God continue to bless the ministry of PTC; it is a treasure that I will never forget as I continue serve the Lord."
