PartnersEntrust Foundation currently supports around 20 partner projects across the global South. These projects vary a great deal in the churches they work with, the training models and curriculum they use, and the percentage of their budget that Entrust contributes. But they all share a commitment to Entrust's values and express them in different ways. Three examples will give you a flavour of this and the projects themselves.
Paul Caampued - Pastoral Training Course, the Philippines
Paul, as Director of the Pastoral Training Course (PTC), travels within the Philippines to conduct seminars in the areas of preaching and leadership for those who have little or no formal theological education. PTC is a registered para-church organisation which works inter-denominationally in order to serve the churches and their leaders in the Philippines.
Siphiwo Kiti - Satellite Programme, Bible Institute of the Eastern Cape, South Africa
Siphiwo Kiti is based at the Bible Institute of the Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth, South Africa and works to develop links with pastors, to build fellowship and encourage pastor-training. The Satellite Programme of the College reaches out from an institutional base to particularly serve the varied African Initiated Churches in the townships around Port Elizabeth.
Nelson Salviano da Silva - The ESCALE project in Brazil
Nelson started, developed and leads the ESCALE programme, which trains grassroots leaders in Belo Horizonte and other areas of Brazil. ESCALE is a non-denominational para-church ministry which serves churches and their leaders, particularly through local, in-situ training organised in partnership with local churches and attracting leaders from an area. Quite apart from the encouragement this provides for individual leaders, it promotes unity among pastors and builds fellowship in the gospel.
Entrust not only works in partnership with pastor training initiatives, but also with a growing number of prayer partners, church partners and other training initiatives. If you would be interested in partnering with these or other projects in any way please do contact us.
